E. Louise Private Cake Decorating Party
Bring the fun of cake decorating right to your home! My private party packages are perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or a fun group activity for 5–12 guests. The per-person price includes all treats, supplies, instruction, and travel within my local service area (Shelby Township).
The Lesson: Frost, Fill, & Decorate
My classes are a fun, comprehensive experience focusing on the skills your guests need to turn a blank cake or cupcake into a masterpiece!

- Frosting & Filling: I teach the proper technique to apply a layer of buttercream filling, follow with a crumb coat, and finish with a smooth final layer of frosting.
- Decorating: Guests practice piping borders, rosettes, and creative designs using professional tools and my curated selection of edible decorations.
Private Party Pricing
Pricing is per person and covers all materials, instruction, and our preparation time.
Option 1: 4″ Mini Cake
Each guest decorates their own individual 4-inch single-layer cake.
- $55 per person
- Example: For 10 guests, the price would be $550.
Option 2: 6″ Small Cake
Each guest decorates their own individual 6-inch single-layer cake.
- $65 per person
- Example: For 10 guests, the price would be $650.
Option 3: Cupcake Decorating
Choose from one of our in-house themes—like “Seasonal Flowers” or “Holiday Fun”—for a focused and fun decorating lesson.

Important Party Details & Logistics
1. What I Provide & What to Expect

| Freshly baked treats, fillings, frosting, and all decorations. | I recommend guests wear clothes they don’t mind getting frosting on. I do not provide aprons. |
| Piping bags and all necessary decorating tools. | To-go boxes are provided for guests to safely take their creations home. |
| A skilled instructor (ME!) for the class duration. | I will need 30 minutes of access to the space for set-up (15 min) and clean-up (15 min). |
2. Booking & Fees
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your date. This deposit is applied to your final invoice.
- The final guest count must be confirmed 7 days prior to the party date. This is the minimum number you will be charged for. Final payment is due at this time.
- Travel Surcharge: Prices include travel within my standard local service area (Shelby Township). A separate travel surcharge will be quoted based on your address if the location is outside this area.
